Photo Set Manager

The Photo Set Manager allows inspecting / adding / removing photos and changing camera and lens parameters.

5 Main buttons in the Photo Set Manager are:

  1. Add Photos - enables browsing and adding photo to the project.

  2. Add Folder - enables browsing and adding entire folders to the project.

  3. Remove Photo - removes the selected photo.

  4. Remove All Photos - removes all images from the project.

  5. Change Camera - Opens detailed camera parameters. For more information on how to change camera parameters see Camera calibration

When adding multiple folders of images to the project, there is a chance of duplicate file names. Pixpro will take care and rename images (adding "_1" to the file name) that have identical file names but are different files. Exact same files will be filtered out automatically as well.

Photo management extends beyond the photo set manager module. Additional management actions can be done using the context menu of photos layer in the layers panel and the map view.

To access these action press right mouse button on the photos layer in the layers panel. There you can see these options:

  1. Photo Set Manager - opens the photo set manager window.

  2. Select Workspace Area - allows selecting the working area graphically on the map view. Photos have to have GPS information for this to work.

  3. Inverse Selection - inverses the current photo selection.

  4. Add Photos ... - enables browsing and adding photo to the project.

  5. Add Photos Folder ... - enables browsing and adding entire folders to the project.

  6. Scope to Photos - scopes the map view to the enabled photos.

  7. Remove Not Used - removes photos not used in the 3D reconstruction.

  8. Remove Checked Photos - removes photos with enabled checkmarks from the layers panel.

  9. Remove All Photos - removes all photos.
